Gnome Clones and Minipriests and Balloons, Oh My!

November 22, 2011

Tonight was a very gnome-filled evening.  My minipriest (who I like to think of as the elder sister of the Lilli clones) was finally close enough to capping honor points that it was time to cash a few in and buy her a PvP mount.  About a month ago, I asked readers to vote on a poll deciding which mount Thisby should purchase.  Thanks to everyone who took the time to do so, and here are the results:

And the winner is ... the Black War Tiger!

The gnomes of Punt This also hosted an event this evening.  In order to get all the Lilli-clones the Pilgrim’s Peril achievement, several friendly non-gnome people ported the gnome clones around to the Horde cities.  Much hilarity (and some death) ensued.  Screenshots of said hilarity follow.

The gnome clones slowly assemble.

And continue to assemble ...

And assemble some more ...

First stop, Eversong Woods! The pale elves killed our hunter friend.

Next up, the orc people! Some cow person was mean to us.

But then we found a neon bear to dance with us!

Going up the elevator in Thunder Bluff may have been a mistake.

We finished the night at the Undercity ... lost our appetites from the smell.

Thanks especially to the folks from <Amicus Fidelis> who helped defend the gnome clones from those mean city guards (and some Hordies) along the way.  We really appreciated all the convenient ports and summons so that we could cause a little mayhem and get our achievements.  Additional pictures are available at the Punt This blog, and on Notes from Azeroth.

Where will the Lillistorm strike next?

… stay tuned.

Look at that old man in the first picture with the pumpkins! He’s totally like “oh my god what the hell is going on.”

Yeah, there’s definitely a clear note of worry on his face.

This is a really common reaction when the Gnome Clones show up anywhere.

We inadvertently invited a random level 85 Druid who happened to be in Orgrimmar into the raid, who tagged along with us through two more cities. She listened quietly for a few minutes and then tentatively asked in /raid, “So, is this some sort of a guild thing, or are you gnomes a cult?”

I laughed out loud for real at that one.

The only possible answer was the one several of us gave: “Both!”

That was some good times! A felguard and a fear spell are very handy in the world of Lilli locks! Thanks to all who helped make this hilarious event happen.

I really enjoyed these screenshots, and had a hearty lol over the TB elevator ‘mistake!’ Looking forward to seeing more adventures.

Oh man, I’m so sorry I missed the Pilgrim’s Peril event! Darn RL for taking me away for the Thanksgiving weekend. – Lillirosz
