Suggested Reading: October 9, 2011

A day late with Suggested Reading this week, but hopefully everyone reading this has plenty of lazy Sunday time to catch up on some great blog posts from the last few days.

  • Boozekin has been one of my favorite guilty pleasures lately.  These “musings of a drunken druid” always manage to be irreverent and hilarious.  Ironically, this week I actually learned how exactly fantasy leagues work from Boozekin’s article on fantasy raiding leagues.  (I also fell for the ESPN arcade bit, and spent more time than I care to admit trying to find the WoW section on ESPN’s website.  I’m a dork.)
  • Guarded by the Light is another blog that I’m really enjoying, both for its helpful raiding strategies and its wonderful screenshots.  Earlier in the week, Miri gave us a wonderful study of Silvermoon and the surrounding Eversong Woods.  Introspection has some beautiful screenshots, and it’s worth looking through the entire album.
  • Finally, the Reluctant Raider has a post about “The Running of the Gnomes” on the Scarlet Crusade server.  A very cool idea for a very good cause, and more fun screenshots … of gnomes!

Thanks for all the great reading (and pictures) this week.  Have a fantastic weekend!
